Texas offers an animal-friendly license plate for light trucks and cars. Sales of these plates will contribute to a Texas-wide program that will provide grants to shelters for low-cost spay or neuter.

The fee for these plates is $30 in addition to the regular vehicle registration fee.
$22 of the fee will be credited to an animal-friendly account and $8 will be applied to the state highway fund.
